Christmas time 2008- It was still snowy in the land of Wilsonville. And the poor Williamsons were all alone and far from family. Well, actually we had one of the best Christmases ever. Not only did we have snow, which is straight out of one of my childhood dreams, we spent it with friends. We first went to the Bird's house to do the nativity and lunch, then we headed over to the Warnicks for a really fun and nice Christmas eve dinner. We had a lot of fun both places.
We couldn't really leave our house to go very far for 2 wks (except, I some how managed to make it to Target and Costco). So I couldn't believe the amount of snow that had fallen. And the roads were not plowed because they've never needed them here.
The Birds house is the one on the left, we tried 4-5 times to make it up their drive-way but we ended up parking by the mailbox.

What a great Christmas. It has also always been my dream to wake up on Christmas and have snow. It must have been like out of a dream. Looks like a lot of fun!!!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE those pictures. Sounds like a storybook Christmas. I have a few questions and a comment or two. Ben's beard--it is very shepherdy. Is it a permanent fixture? You as a wisewoman and Zach as an angel---perfect casting.
Hannah looked so Mary-like astride that donkey. Where is your stocking Miss Mindy? Are you doing the Mom thing by being too busy to worry about your own stocking? --Thanks for sharing those great pictures.
One more thing. How great for the Birds to share their expertise on the bells with you. Now it's your turn to show them how talented you Williamsons are by playing your pipe chimes for them.
Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. I really miss having snow on Christmas, there is nothing like it. I love the whole reenacting, one of these days I am going to do it with my clan.
I love to see the pictures of your nativity play. Don't you love those costumes? Ours sure get a lot of wear. What a great cast! Great cast, great costumes, and of course, the best script ever written - how can you go wrong with such a production?
