April 2008- We have always heard that the Oregon coast is much different then the SoCali. coast that we were use to. That is exactly right! Since we live a little more then an hour away we thought we should check it out. Everything from the drive to the arrival was so beautiful. The thick green trees go right up to the coast line in many places. Even though the coast is 20 degrees or more colder then the inland Oregon the beauty makes up for it. We also went over to the Tillamook cheese factory which we all really enjoyed. I fondly remember when Mr. Rogers would show how things were made. The kids were just inthralled with the process and the samples.

I completely agree. The Oregon coast is so clean and pristine, nothing like SoCal, and there are star fish and shells and driftwood. We love it there, and we loved Tillamook cheese factory too. Very fun to watch the process.
